Just Real Quick: It's Really Happening

Whose Side Are You On?

Focus Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:1-5 “I solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when He comes to set up His Kingdom: Preach the Word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.”

Just Real Quick!!

So it has finally happened. Yesterday the Supreme Court ruled that same-sex marriage is now a right in all fifty states. I’m not saddened or surprised, after all look at what the scriptures say.

I just realize that we are drawing closer to the coming of our Lord as predicted in scripture when times like these become rampant.

So I think it’s safe to ask, whose side are you on?

The Word says not to judge the world or condemn it, at least not now, but to share the gospel about Jesus’ love and sacrifice to unbelievers and patiently correct, rebuke and encourage the believers.

The time is now and has already come that some will fall away and heed to myths and anything that will stroke their hedonism. IT’S TALKING ABOUT US, SAINTS.
“For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. See, I have warned you ahead of this time.” (Matthew 24:24-25)
None of us are exempt from this possibility.

My heart breaks to see that some that I’ve even grown up in the faith with have fallen away, especially at the most inconvenient time (not that anytime is convenient). They’ve been taken up with anything that will justify their rebellious lifestyles contrary to Christ and have now become completely deluded – or so it seems.

I still believe there is hope. None of us are bound to sin lest we choose bondage. The moment we choose Christ He can free us.

He can free you.

Bro or Sis, if you’ve turned away, take heart. You can still come on back home. We are so exceedingly happy to have you, you don’t understand. Please choose Christ again. He can heal the areas where you thought would always be hidden and you’d always have to overcompensate for. He is lovely. Truly, just like you remember. And He did that for me too.

satan is a liar. And I hate that he makes you feel that the lifestyle you are living will suffice. He made me feel that way too. But I discovered differently after my eyes were opened. I get it, it’s in our nature. Adam and Eve thought the same when they ate that fruit. But they learned the hard way that it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. Don’t deny Christ’s love. Trust me, it is good.

And to everyone else – gosh it is ludicrous that God doesn’t love you!! It may be easy for you to believe, but it’s not the truth. It’s not His real character. EVERYTHING will try to tell you that He does not care for you or that He isn’t real, BUT HE IS. And He is altogether lovely. As a matter of fact, He is the only one you’ll ever meet who really knows how to love, and love consistently. What you’ve experienced in this life so far fails in comparison to how fulfilling He is. Why not give Him an opportunity to show you? It starts by believing this first, and I trust that the Holy Spirit will make it real for you.

Just wanted to say that real quick.
